Mylio Photos
During my time at Mylio, I had the privilege of leading the charge in reshaping the company's brand identity. It was an inspiring and collaborative experience, working alongside a dedicated team to breathe new life into the Mylio Photos brand. The journey has been marked by challenges, creativity, and growth, and I'm excited about the transformation we've achieved thus far. We went from a dark, crowded site with little unity from asset to asset, to a lighter and brighter feel that still kept the old branding and user base in mind.
In this side by side screenshot, you can really see how the old heavy branding lacked a bit of a story and human touch. I wanted to create a light version of the website that still complimented the dark UI of the product app. I built out blocks during the UX stage that better followed a users needs when first entering the home page. I worked with other teams to narrow down the language and needs of the page. I wanted to incorporate as many product screenshots as possible to really show off what you are getting from using Mylio Photos.
Inclusivity is always top of mind for me. I wanted to showcase that diversity is top of mind, not just in who we represent, but also keeping in mind ADA compliancy and ensuring as many places as possible were accessible to those with any sort of differences. I worked on bringing more representation to the brand and wanted it to feel inviting to anyone. I sourced imagery that suited the brands style and needs + felt more inclusive.
