“Sydney has been great to work alongside with as a Visual Designer at Alaska Airlines. She's always very positive and chipper and not afraid to speak up and ask questions to things she doesn't know. She's not afraid to take ownership of a project and carry it through from beginning to end. She's an exceptional illustrator and really fast without sacrificing quality. Being knowledgeable in branding across both print and digital design platforms, any team would be lucky to have her as a team member!”

“Sydney is a cheerful, motivated worker with great design sensibilities and joy to be around.
She is eager to learn new things and get the job done.”
“I was lucky enough to have Sydney join our team for a month to work on a contract project. Thanks to her artistic eye, attention to detail, great organizational skills, and outstanding work ethic, she was able to finish the project faster than we expected with a high level of quality. Sydney proactively reached out with questions after our initial discussions, collaborated well with other designers, and overall was great to work with. I would be happy to recommend her and would love to work with her again.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sydney over the past 5 years. As a fellow graphic designer, I’ve both seen her progression, as well as leaned upon her expertise when I encounter problems I couldn’t solve. Sydney is a genuine master with handling colors and developing a concept, even if that means learning new technology to accomplish her tasks…I’ve seen Sydney operating her own freelance business, as well as within corporate structures, and even small start up businesses. In every capacity, she has shown dedication and an innovative spirit towards problem solving.
One example of Sydney’s body of work that I believe best represents her is a product catalog she designed for Warehouse Discount Center and printed through my services in 2017. With this large project on her table, Sydney went right back to basics and developed a visual language that ran throughout the whole project. Leveraging InDesign for it’s superior handling of multipage designs, she organized supplied photography and content from high end appliance companies, as well as branding guidelines and fonts to ensure that their representation would be accurate. Over the course of two months, she had compiled, drafted, proofed, and exported a master file for me to preflight and coordinate the printing of 5000 booklets… The final print is, to this day, one of the highest quality projects I’ve ever had a hand in producing.
In quick summary, Sydney is capable of incredible technical details when that is asked of her. Often she’ll find a much more elegant solution than initially conceived, and with the additional time and resources, she finds a way to improve the overall design significantly. That is the Sydney that I know, and her work speaks well for her ability.”

“Sydney and I both worked in the Marketing Department for a family owned home appliance company with 7 store locations and an online store. I was the marketing manager, and Sydney was the marketing assistant and lead graphic designer for about 2 years. Although her job title was as an assistant, her skills surpassed the position requirements and many times she was spearheading her own projects. Being that we were a small department for a mid-level size company, our responsibilities spread beyond our job description. The things that she mainly focused on was leading our email marketing, social media marketing, writing blogs, and creating artwork for print and web projects.
While working in a team environment she always did a great job participating and providing ideas. When working alone, she always took initiative and began on projects without having to wait for me to give direction. Sydney was a great employee, a creative artist, and a very determined individual. I believe she would be a great addition to any company. Her determination is inspiring and I believe she'll be successful with any career path she chooses.”
